The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India has urged the NSS units in the country to organise ‘Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat’ (EBSB) activities as part of regular activities for 10 hours during a 4 Month Period from November, 2019 to February’ 2O2O. As part of it 10 kinds of activities are suggested to be implemented by the selected colleges under the University of Kerala. These activities are to be organised in favour of the pairing state under EBSB. For Kerala the pairing state is Himachal Pradesh.
On 22nd November 2019, the NSS Unit started the first programme on Ek Bharath Shreshta Bharat. The NSS Programme Officer Mr Asseem J presented the brief introduction of the programme to the NSS volunteers. He also gave a detailed lecture on the culture of Himalayan Pradesh together with some photo exhibitions.
