The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India has planned 5 Zonal level NSS Pre-RD Camps to select the participants to the prestigious Republic Day parade camp 2020 at New Delhi. This year the South Zone NSS Pre-RD Parade Camp will be conducted by the NSS Regional Directorate, Chennai from 16 to 25 October 2019 at National College, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. In order to select ten volunteers (5 male & 5 female) for deputing them to the South Zone NSS Pre-RD Parade Camp, a selection camp will be conducted at BJM Government College, Chavara, Kollam District on Saturday the 12th of October 2019. Two of the volunteers- Tholhath and Asiya Beevi) participated in a camp at BJM Govt College, Chavra on 12-10-2019. One of our volunteers, Asiya Beevi got selection for the second round of selection process and participated in the Pre RD camp at 16-25 October, 2019 at Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
