Teachers’ Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general. The National Teachers Day is observed every year on 5th September in India to commemorate birthday of country’s first Vice President and second President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. To celebrate this day, various programmes were organised in schools and colleges throughout the country to honour of teachers who shaped the lives of students and showed them path of success.
NSS Unit of the Mannaniya College organized an inimitable to celebrate the teacher’s day. The volunteers honoured the teachers by presenting small gifts to all teachers.
