DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

The Department was established in 1995 with a bachelor degree course, B. Com commerce, to meet the ever- growing demand for the commerce subjects. In the year 1998, the department added, B Com Tourism and Travel Management. This course prepares the students with skill, knowledge and leadership qualities required to succeed as professional in the tourism industries. In addition to the B. Com commerce and B Com Tourism and Travel Management, in 2013, the department of commerce started a master degree programme, master degree in commerce, M.Com. All programs in commerce department assures professional education of immense value, equipping the students with adequate knowledge in various facets of commerce sector to enable them to emerge as business leaders.
