Department Of Islamic History

Islamic History is one of the prestigious departments in the institution which is functioning from the inception of the college itself. The Department offers BA degree course with complimentary subjects as Linguistics and Indian History. It has secured first rank at university level almost all years right from the beginning of the course. So that the turn out of the course is very high. Apart from this,
seven students from the dept. already achieved the envious position of UGC level college lectures in the state.

The Department conducts Seminar,Workshop,Symposium etc. in terms of contemporary socio-political issues in the global scenario which motivates and inculcates the academic interest in the discipline among the students regularly. The dept. is led by eminent faculty members including a research guide under the university of Kerala.
