CODE OF CONDUCT

TEACHERS

A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill in the younger generation a love for learning. He/She should:

  • Uphold the honour and dignity of the profession.
  • Be impartial and non discriminatory to students.
  • Provide innovative and quality education.
  • Interact with the students in a friendly manner.
  • Abide by the rules and regulations of the institution.
  • Collaborate productively with colleagues.
  • Interact positively with parents and other stakeholders in the education system.
  • Be good counselors and facilitators.
  • Help, guide, encourage and assist students in their learning.

NON-TEACHING STAFF

       The following traits are expected from the Non-teaching staff. He/She must

  • Report to duty at least 30 minutes in advance.
  • Remain on duty during college hours.
  • Adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the college.
  • Respect and maintain the hierarchy in the administrative system.
  • Maintain honesty, integrity and fairness in all the activities.
  • Exercise self-discipline and engage positively with staff, students and the general public.
  • Must not divulge official secrets, expunge, conceal, alter or forge official documents/receipts.
  • Should not misappropriate college funds.
  • Must not be absent from duty
